Independent
Loyal to you
We're not owned by a supplier and we're not paid to push one. We compare offers from multiple suppliers and bring back what fits your business. If staying where you are is the right call, we'll say so.
About Feral Watt
Feral Watt is an independent electricity broker for businesses. We don't belong to a supplier, we don't run on autopilot, and we don't take a rate at face value. We read your bill, shop your account, and tell you what we'd tell a friend.
A house cat waits to be fed. A feral cat reads the street.
Feral cats don't belong to anybody. They're independent, they're skeptical, and they stay alive by noticing things the comfortable cats miss. That's the job, applied to your electric bill.
Independent

Street-smart
We start with your bill, not a sales sheet: your usage, your demand, your contract end date, your utility area. The number you get is priced on your actual usage history. Your numbers, not a guess.
Instinct
A low headline rate can hide a short term, charges that aren't included, or a contract that rolls onto a pricier rate the day it ends. We look past the teaser to the all-in cost and the terms you're actually signing.
Yes, she's grumpy. On purpose.
Energy marketing is full of friendly mascots and big smiles. We went the other way: Static, a scruffy charcoal tabby with a ragged ear and a look that says she's already read the fine print and she isn't impressed. She's the face you make when a "special rate" turns out to be special for somebody else.
Static was designed by one of Vee's daughters, and she's modeled on Vee herself, so the scowl is a family original.
The name could have been cuter. Kitty-and-kilowatt puns were on the list. They lost, because the brand line was already decided: Not cute. Correct. Being right about your bill matters more than being adorable about it.
Feral Watt started from one stubborn idea that's still on the front page: price power on the customer's actual usage history, not a guess. Your bill. Your usage. Your price.
Feral Watt is Vee, Veronica Miller. She's Houston-based, from the Lake Houston area, and already runs a local business there as a notary.
Before Feral Watt, she worked in title and escrow, where the whole job is reading long documents carefully and making sure nobody signs something they don't understand. She's also a working notary and loan signing agent. Paperwork doesn't scare her. Vague paperwork annoys her.
She's a mom of four daughters, a cat person, and a woman in a male-led industry. Feral Watt is small on purpose. When you send a bill, Vee is the one who reads it, and she prepares every quote personally.
No auto-quotes and no guessing. Four things, every time.
01 · Bill first
Upload a PDF or a clear photo. It tells us your usage, your utility area, your meter ID and often when your current contract ends.
02 · Real data
In the same form, you type your name to authorize us to request your usage history from the utility. It's a standard Letter of Authorization (LOA). It isn't a contract and it doesn't switch anything.
03 · Human-reviewed
Vee shops your account and reviews the options herself. You get an all-in number and the terms in plain language, usually by the next business day.
04 · Your call
We call at the time you pick and email you the quote while you're on the phone. Quotes are good for 24 hours, because electricity prices move every day. Ask anything. Decide on your own time.
Your bill. Your usage. Your price. If there's a meter and a bill, we price it on what that account actually uses.
Not sure your area can choose its supplier? The FAQ covers that. A Smart Meter Texas comparison tool is still on the way. The waitlist is on the residential page.
One form: your bill and a quick authorization. We read it, shop it, and call you with a personalized quote, with an emailed copy during the call.
