Terms of use

Feral Watt LLC ("Feral Watt," "we") is an independent electricity broker in Texas. These terms cover your use of feralwatt.com and our text message program. Our full SMS program terms are on our SMS / Text Messaging Terms page. Questions? Email hello@feralwatt.com or call (346) 694-5454.

Using this site

  • Our online quote form is set up for business (commercial) electricity accounts. For home service, see our Residential page or call us.
  • Quotes and rates shown or discussed are estimates until you sign a contract with a retail electricity provider. Rates depend on your usage, market conditions and product terms. Quotes are good for 24 hours unless we tell you otherwise.
  • Feral Watt is a broker, not an electricity provider. Your electricity contract is between your business and the retail electricity provider you choose.
  • Your authorization to request usage history is covered by our Authorization terms.
  • How we handle your information is covered by our Privacy policy.

Text message (SMS) terms

  • Program: Texts from Feral Watt about your quote and call scheduling.
  • How you join: check the optional text-message box on our quote form. Texting is never required to get a quote or to buy.
  • What you'll get: texts about your quote and call scheduling (confirmation, quote ready, call scheduling, quote-expiration reminders), follow-ups about your request and, if you become a customer, updates about your authorization, enrollment and contract (for example, start-date and renewal reminders). You can reply to any text to reach us.
  • How often: message frequency varies with your request, usually 1 to 5 texts per quote request.
  • Cost: Msg & data rates may apply.
  • Opt out: reply STOP at any time. You'll get one text confirming you're unsubscribed and no more texts after that. Reply START to rejoin.
  • Help: reply HELP for help, call (346) 694-5454, or email hello@feralwatt.com.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes; text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy policy.
  • Full program details: SMS / Text Messaging Terms.
